Apollo Sheet Metal officially began operations in 1981, building on a vision originating in the mid-1970s by owner Bruce Ratchford.

With a decade of experience and expertise in sheet metal, mechanical design, and business management, Mr. Ratchford incorporated Apollo Sheet Metal in Richland Washington, to serve the Tri-Cities’ construction needs. A NATIVE AMERICAN OWNED COMPANY Since 1981, Apollo has progressively grown larger in its original scope and has also expanded its operations to specialize in hospitals, laboratories, schools, and industrial facilities.

Northwest Construction Magazine (August 2008) ranks Apollo Sheet Metal #9 in the Northwest Top Specialty Contractor’s and #4 in the Northwest Top 20 Mechanical Contractor’s.

The Apollo team provides pre-construction, construction, and design assist services for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial clients. Our array of services include complete HVAC contracting and design, industrial piping/plumbing, Direct Digital Controls, energy conservation consulting, Lead Building Information Modeling (LBIM) and Lead Coordination Management (LCM), sheet metal fabrication, and facility maintenance.

Apollo also has a Quality Assurance Program that meets the requirements of ASME NQA-1 and “R Stamp” for the fabrication and installation of pressurized equipment, and is a certified Native American Owned Business.
